The product, in the report: HFT (Freight Tools) 50 FT. Extension cord, outdoor, 125V, Max Amps: 15, Max Watts: 1875, Gauge:14AWG, Service Rating: SJTW 373361422, 3 Prong grounded plug, Water resistant rubber casing, OSHA certified Model Item 61859 UPC 7 92363 61859 5
When I unplugged a three-prong extension cord from the wall socket the grounding third prong remained in the wall socket. Looking at the plug end, it did not appear the third prong was actually ever solidly connected to the grounding wire.
