The product, in the report: A full size Murphy Bed

A murphy bed purchased on Amazon callapsed on me. I am a woodworker, so for me assembling flat pack furniture is pretty easy. I followed their instructions exactly, but when I got out of bed in the morning. one of the feet that supports the bed slid out, my weight on the bed then caused the case to pull off the wall and fall on me. Fortunately, I am fairly stong and was able to catch it and keep it from causing me seroius damage, but most people, especially small childern would not have been so lucky. The instructions showed (they were no actual words on the instructions, just drawings) just 4 small “L” brackets mounting it to the wall with small #8 wood screws that were only 1 1/2”. When the foot slid out, these small screws were not enough to support the weight, allowing it to fall on me. I found online instructions for some other murphy beds, they had 4 written pages with detailed drawings on how to properly mount it to the wall. They stateted how you HAD to screw into a stud and used much larger #12 screws that were 3” long. As currently sold on Amazon, this product is extermely unsafe. It needs much larger screws to mount to the wall with proper instructions and some way to lock the feet in place so they can’t slip out.
