Hurt, care not known Made May 16, 2024, sent to the company May 29, 2024, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2024
The product, in the report: Caribou Queen Murphy Bed by Foundstone. Appears to be renamed possibly to [REDACTED]. Dimensions: 48”H x 17.5”D x 64.5”W Open Dimensions: 25.5”H x 82.5”D x 64.5”W Approximately800 pounds
Bed tipped at the base on wheels causing a painful pull in my shoulder. Had to call for two other people to help stabilize and was still difficult. The bed is very heavy. This is a very dangerous bed and will eventually be a hazard for someone. I now have grandchildren and are concerned with them getting to the legs which can be pulled out causing the heavy bed to tip.

Emergency room Made Feb 22, 2023, sent to the company May 1, 2023, published by CPSC May 15, 2023
The product, in the report: Solid wood, mobile murphy bed. with mattress
(2/17/23): The caller heard his 5 year old granddaughter scream in pain. When he ran to check on her, he saw that the solid wood queen sized low level Murphy bed had fallen on the child’s upper arm area. It landed within one to two inches from her elbow, between the elbow and the tricep. Her upper arm had swelling in the same area. The caller lives one mile from [REDACTED] Hospital in Chula Vista, CA and drove her to the emergency room. She was still in the emergency room, when the report was filed with CPSC.. Caller is not sure about any other swelling or bruising injuries. In light of the force the child’s arm had been hit with, he wanted to get her immediately to emergency care. The bed was locked but not anchored to the wall because it has to be rolled to the center of the room to be opened and use for sleeping. Caller estimates that the Murphy Bed fell from four feet straight down onto the child’s arm.
