The product, in the report: Brown Leather 3 piece sectional sofa

We purchased a leather sofa from our local furniture store. A little while after having the sofa my husband started breaking out with what we thought was eczema. He was so itchy and could barely sleep at night. Gradually over time the so called eczema turned into open sores they were not going away. Back and forth to the dermatologist with medicine and creams nothing would help the sores. We had no idea what was going on never thinking it was the sofa. He had sores/ burns on the back of his arms, legs and lower back. The dermatologist gave him cortisone shots of no avail. Then in October 2010 I realized the only new thing it could be was the sofa. We decided to take the sofa out and put it in the garage. My husbands skin started to clear up. He still has scars from the sores / burns. We still have the sofa in the garage and if my husband goes in there he starts to scratch and his skin gets so irritated it takes days for it to go away.

Had we not figured out that the sofa was causing this problem my husband would be in much worse shape. I have pictures of his open sores/burns. They are quite large on his body.

The manufacture is Divani Chateau d’Ax This sofa was assembled in China.
