The product, in the report: Reclining sofa and love seat
The consumer has a safety concern in reference to the electric modules inside of the furniture that controls the recline. The consumer purchased the units in 2018. On three difference occasions, he has had to replace the controllers inside of the units. The consumer smelled something burning and discovered that the controllers had melted. This happened on 5/27/2020, December 2020 and most recently, January 10, 2023.
The manufacturer replaced the controllers the first two times. Because the warranty had expired, the consumer had to replace the controllers the third time that the incident happened.
The consumer has all of the burnt controllers.
