Made Jan 24, 2017, sent to the company Feb 24, 2017, published by CPSC Mar 10, 2017

The product, in the report: Living room sofa

This consumer is reporting her living room furniture purchased June 20th, 2015 from furniture store in Fredericksburg, VA. Sofa very light weight and put together with staples and glue that is not staying together.

She noticed around June 2016 that the loveseat was coming apart and her husband repaired it since the warranty had lapsed but then when she noticed that the sofa was also coming apart around two months ago after it began creaking then coming away from the frame.

She has a four year old son and an eight year daughter who could be injured if they were to scrape their arms on the staples.

She said that the sofa is so lightweight and has such a high back that she has to keep it against the wall so that she doesn’t have to worry about it tipping over if her children are not sitting perfectly still.

There have been no injuries at this date

She has contacted the manufacturer who referred her to their Fredericksburg location but they were not open.
