My wife and I (71) bought a brown Coastal 84” electrical reclining sofa in August 2017 brand new for $1649.00 + 199.00 for 5 year warranty from Baer Furniture. Last week we were home,I heard crackling sounds followed by plastic burning. I ask wife to help me move sofa away from wall which torn one of the wires off the sofa as the end wire had a 1 inch flame. I unplugged it fire went out. On 3/20/18 to [REDACTED] asking to refund our $2117.12 Tuesday [REDACTED] called no refund but will fix it. I explained if we didn’t have a tile floor we could have lost the house and if sleeping our lives,his sofa is a constant reminder.
