  1. First aid

Made Aug 3, 2022, sent to the company Aug 10, 2022, published by CPSC Aug 24, 2022

The product, in the report: It is the Bassett Furniture Envelop couch. Model 2631-30FC,Model 2631-30 FC, Model 2631-00FC. The fabric is FC166-0.

There are innumerable number of feathers coming from this couch. We have a vacuum and clean the couch daily and there are still too many feathers coming out of the couch. It has caused near choking events for my 10 month old son who is able to continuously pull out sharp feathers from the couch.

I have contacted the manufacturer who is aware of the issue and has modified the product to protect this, but they wanted to charge an additional $1000 to cover the cost of these. They stated they would have provided free of charge if we contacted 10 months ago ( within 5 years of purchase) but refuse to provide now despite safety risk.
