The power recliner lever extended beyond the level of the compressed cushion of the armless recliner when we have sat down or attempted to move after sitting. The handle pressed into one person’s orifice and has cause pain and bruising when the muscle was pressed into the bone on virtually all users. There is fear that a severe injury could easily take place especially with soft tissue like that of a child or the eye area.
