The product, in the report: It is a kind of carpet padding cement used by a carpet vendor locally Product Name: Parabond M260 Manufacturer:Parabond
We hired a carpet vendor to install carpet. The installer used one kind of carpet cement that contains high level of Lotuene and x-Hexane, both of which are neurotoxin, unsafe to be used in residential indoor environment. This product has such strong VOC odor (the label says 442 g/l VOC level) that it made all of us very sick. We have a little child at home too. We ended up living somewhere else. I don’t think this kind of product should be sold anywhere to uneducated carpet installers.
