The product, in the report: Carpet by Milliken Grand Elegance-Charming Distributed by FloorStar Bought from Finishers Unlimited Monroe MI 48161 Carpet is disintegrating in a sand-dust like substance the furnace filter is full of it and have to change it monthly. our vacuum cleaner is full of sand like silicone particles that is the color of our carpet. In sunny days we can see the particles floating in the air that we breathe.
we purchased our carpet from Finishers Unlimited with a life time warranty. After a year we noticed that the carpet was shredding. We find silica like carpet particles all over the house on the furniture on our tile as well as our vacuum cleaner being completely full of this sand like particles after we vacuumed. The carpet was made by Milliken and distributed by Floorstar. We purchased the carpet from Finishers Unlimited in Monroe Mi. 48161. At This time we are breathing these particles and the situation has gotten worse. We contacted Finishers Unlimited a few months ago just to her that it takes at least four weeks to process a claim. Finishers is saying that they no longer sell the carpet and admit that there is a problem. I’m afraid that this carpet was sold and that other people are suffering by breathing this silicone almost dust like substance. In the sunlight we can actually see the particles floating in the air. Please advice Thank you [REDACTED]
