  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 8, 2021, sent to the company Jan 29, 2021, published by CPSC Feb 12, 2021

The product, in the report: Naomi Home Odelia Swivel Glider Rocker Recliner Cream/Microfiber Item Weight: 102.8 pounds Assembled Height 63.5 centimeters Assembled Width 78.74 centimeters Weight 46.72 Kilograms

I purchased a recliner from a company called Naomi Home via Amazon. The recliner was for my nursery so I could rock and feed my baby. I was feeding my baby in the middle of the night, GENTLY rocking, and the chair flipped completely backwards, landing me on my back clutching my baby, with the recliner on top of us. I had to scream for my husband to come flip us upright. Thank GOD my baby was not seriously injured and I had a good grasp on her, otherwise she could have been. I hit my head on the wall behind me but sustained no injuries. I contacted Amazon to return the product (and also make them aware that it is unsafe) however I only received a form response from the retailer (via amazon) that said I was unable to return it. They did not address the incident whatsoever. I also contacted the retailer (Naomi Home, a division of company OJ Commerce) directly on several different occasions, explaining the situation and suggesting they look into the safety of the product, and also requesting a return/refund. I never heard back from them.
