The product, in the report: Garden Treasures White Wooden Patio Rocking Chair Model # TA7002

We purchased two Garden Treasures White Patio Rocking Chairs, Item # 402024, Model # TA7002 from Lowe’s last year. These are pre-painted wooden rocking chairs which were used on a covered porch. While sitting in them yesterday (June 18, 2016), the chair I was sitting in began to tip backwards. As it tipped, I grabbed my wife in the chair next to me to stop my fall. Unfortunately, her char also tipped. During the fall to the ground my head struck the wall behind me and my left elbow struck the ground. My wife’s fall was arrested somewhat by a planter and she only struck an elbow on the ground and one leg on the chair.

Once we picked ourselves up we noted that the runners had broken where the rear leg inserted. It is obvious that the runner has very little structure remaining due to the size of the hole required for the leg spindle. As a result of the fall, I sustained a moderate size hematoma on my head and now have a sore elbow and a very sore neck. My wife has a sore elbow and a bruise on her leg.
