The product, in the report: L.L.Bean Camp Comfort Recliner XL
I purchased quantity 3 of L.L.Bean Camp Comfort Recliner XL on 10/10/2017. Today on 10/6/2019, I went to sit in one when the fabric ripped at the seam and along the back and I fell through, breaking my coccyx. I am not the first person to experience the fabric on these chairs ripping if you go to their website product page and read customer reviews. In fact, before the 3 I have now I received 2 as a gift, which also ripped within the first couple years but thankfully didn’t result in injury. These chairs were used only a few times a year and stored safely, so they should not be deteriorating or suffering from excess use. Additionally, I am only 180lbs, well below the weight rating of these chairs. I believe the fabric on these is not safe for use on an outdoor chair or anything that is weight bearing.
