The product, in the report: Glider Rocker
The consumer stated that her daughter was playing near her. The consumer’s daughter crawled under the glider and grabbed the paint chip that was on the floor. The consumer’s daughter put the paint chip in her mouth, that the consumer was able to take out.
The consumer turned the glider over and noticed a piece of paint missing. The consumer stated the paint chip was about 4-5in long. The paint chip exposed the metal on the glider.
The consumer contacted the manf and they informed her that sometimes more paint comes out of the painting machine which causes the paint to chip off.
The consumer’s daughter is 7.5 months.
There are no recalls on this product. The consumer believes that this is a very hazardous product for children.

The product, in the report: Dutailier Glider Rocking Chair with reclining back.
I am the original owner of a Dutailier Glider Rocking Chair. The chair rocks and the back reclines. On several occasions the chair has flipped forward onto users, including my elderly mother and my children. When standing up from the chair, one must move to the front of the seat and when the user does, the entire chair flips forward. The pieces that serve as the feet are not long enough to provide a stable platform. The design of this chair is UNSAFE! The company simply says that I must lock the chair to get out of it but a child IS NOT capable of locking/unlocking the chair when using it. Nor are visitors and others aware that the chair will flip if not in the locked position.
