The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

It clearly states on the website Easily Tipped: NO

I wrote into the company about the issue and they said: [REDACTED]   There is not any reported issues with the item, [REDACTED]. The chair is made heavier so in the case someone is leaning to far back with the additional weight on the product it can cause it to tip over. Which can happen in any rocking chair, my daughter tipped ours over a few times because she would rock too fast.

So they acknowledged it. They acknowledged that the chair is top heavy. [REDACTED]: I understand your concerns with you feeling this item is a safety concern for your family, due to the top is heavier. This is how the chair is made

My son is 2 - weighs only ~30lbs. He was rocking at a regular rocking pace (which should be expected in the chair) - when he rocked back - given the top heavy nature of the product, the chair flipped backwards. My son was pretty badly hurt - requiring 9 staples in his head. I believe they need to supply a “stop” on the back of the chair to prevent it from flipping
