The product, in the report: Crawford Lift Chair in Grey by Sealy Sofa Convertibles

This is the 2nd Sealy Lift chair with a bad motor/electrical issue - Disposed of first chair, after much back and forth conversation with Overstock and one conversation with Sealy. The 1st chair I received had low power to it, when using the “lift” position the chair elevated and immediately dropped back down to the base The 2nd chair I received was in a damaged box and had a few marks on it. Once put together and trying it out, without a person in it.. It functioned properly. However that was only 2 months ago and now there is no power/remote doesn’t work. Reclining lift chair I was using the product to sit in I reclined the chair, watched TV for a bit and went to get up for bed, no power to the chair.. I tried pushing the foot rest down with my legs after seeing there was no power.. It became obvious that the chair isn’t intended to go down manually.. I used my phone to check online for a solution and did not find one.. I could not sit up from the position the chair was in, I sat down in the chair at 8pm and wanting to go to bed around 10:30pm.. I could not get out of the chair until 11am the next morning(today) with the help of my sister and nurses aide.. It was terribly frightening and painful due to my disability.. I cannot stand up without the Lift function of the chair. I attempted to get off over the side of the chair but was unable to reach my wheelchair from the reclining position.. so for safety i had to stay there..
