The product, in the report: Design to recline 1838 Rocker Recliner 2414 Empire Charcoal Control number 81075990
The recliner has had the metal break (repaired after a year of pushing) and now wood breaking! The product was being used by two adults at different times as a recliner chair. The metal piece luckily went downward and scratched the floor when it broke and not up into a person. The company did replace that part. Now it is the wood, the seat dropped, the footrest up sprung out, and a piece of wood popped out the side. If I didn’t slide myself and my 1-year-old daughter over the side we would have been injured. When I contacted the original store they stated I had an extended warranty on it (same as the first time), had to explain I did not on the chair. Then contacted the manufacturer to explain about the lemon I had purchased and the situation with the chair. Another company did repair the couch frame that snapped apart and said I was lucky that did not injure someone.
