The product, in the report: Delta Children Teddy Recliner Chair - Greenguard Gold Certified - Ivory: Contemporary Style, Metal & Wood Frame, Solid Pattern, Upholstered
The footrest on the Delta Children Teddy Recliner Chair - Greenguard Gold Certified - Ivory: Contemporary Style, Metal & Wood Frame, Solid Pattern, Upholstered cannot be pushed back to the unrecline position when in the chair. You have to physically get out out the chair while you are reclined in the chair to physically use your hands to push the footrest back in place. I was not able to push the footrest in very easily at all. My husband also had a hard time pushing footrest back in locked position also, This chair is advertised and used primarily in a nursery. This is a safety hazard as you cannot get out of chair when reclined unless you straddle the reclined footrest which could cause harm and result in a fall as your trying to hold your baby and get out of a reclined chair. The company Delta Child is well aware of this problem by way of the multiple reviews along with Target corporate. This product needs to be recalled and the design needs to be fixed.
