The product, in the report: Recliner, brown
On October 2, 2026, at approximately 4:30 AM, my Bosmiller recliner suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure. I was completely asleep in the chair when it unexpectedly flipped entirely backward, throwing me onto the floor. I am a post-surgical patient currently recovering from a major PCDF spinal surgery, and this chair was purchased specifically to provide secure medical resting support. Because of the severe impact and my fragile post-surgical condition, I was trapped on the floor, unable to move or reach my phone. I had to use an Amazon Alexa voice command to dial my daughter for emergency help to get me off the ground. This chair has a documented history of manufacturing defects. In July 2026, the mechanism failed and got stuck high in the air, which we previously photographed and reported to the seller via Amazon messaging. The chair temporarily resumed operating before this final, dangerous collapse.
