The product, in the report: America’s Lift Chair Power chair lift and recliner with heat and massage. Blue-128 pounds Model Deluxe
Product was being used as a recliner, in my living room. I have AS and arthritis in my lower back, this is why I chose this recliner. Twice the recliner has failed to return to the upright position when it was fully reclined. To get out of the chair I had to roll over the armrest onto the floor. This severely affected my lower back and my shoulder where it hit the floor. It took me 45 minutes the first time and 60 minutes the second time to get myself on my feet. The first time I thought it was something that I did, but since the chair came with no instructions, I could not be blamed. Once recovered from the 1st incident, I ran the chair through its paces, without me in it. It worked fine and as expected. The second time, now familiar with all of the controls, I got stuck again. Once I freed myself I ran the chair through all of its paces, again it passed with no problems. The chair is rated at 450 pounds, I weigh 260. The heat does not seem to work and the “massage” is just vibrations.
