The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. First aid

Made Nov 23, 2011, sent to the company Dec 2, 2011, published by CPSC Dec 23, 2011

The product, in the report: this comforter was part of a Disney Pixar Finding Nemo bedding set that included sheets, comforter and pillow case

The plastic thread used as the quilting on my son’s Finding Nemo comfortor started to come off. While my son was sleeping the plastic thread became wrapped around one of his toes cutting off the circulation. He woke up because his toe hurt. The more he pulled the tighter the plastic thread got. I woke up to my son crying. His toe was purple and there was an indent from the thread. Becuase the thread was plastic and pulled tight from my son trying to get it off it was difficult to remove. I purchased this bedding approximately 6 years ago.
