The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Here is the face towel link: https://silvonhome.com/products/face-towel

I bought three face towels from this website: https://silvonhome.com/. The product claim to be made of smell proof fabric. When I open the product package, a strong chemical smell comes out of the plastic package. I have to wash it several times before making the chemical smell gone. My initial thought is the product might just stay in the inventory for very long time hence getting this bad smell. However, after using it for 9 days, a strong [REDACTED] smell comes out of the face towel. I almost start vomiting when I walk close to it. Now I am in the process of returning the product to the seller. Hope someone can help investigate the fabric safety in case it’s doing any harm to human skin.
