The product, in the report: Room Essentials Brand of Towels (Made in China) States product is 100% cotton, I do not believe this as I’ve never seen any cotton act like this product. I purchased a complete set of 4 bath towels, and wash cloths. Two tone Grey, dark and light with a thin stripe at each end across the towel. They were available in a multitude of colors, and bright pastels, pink, green, black, grey etc.
I have purchased a complete set towels from the Target chain of stores. These towels are made in China, extremely soft and fluffy and yet very affordable. The problem is they create irritable situations, one being my eyes, there is a fine dust that comes off these towels no matter how many times you wash them. [REDACTED] They leave a fine film of dust on everything, in your tub, on your floor, even sticking to the vertical surface of my mirror.
I’ve never seen anything like this and it’s quite disturbing. In running these towels through the washer and dryer cycle at least ten times thinking I could remove the majority of the fibers that create this dust problem....it did not solve a thing. My dryer lint vent was clogged up more after one drying of these towels than had I washed 4 or 5 separates loads of wash....unbelieveable.
I’ve literally stopped using them. I was using only one at a time, and that one alone created a film of dust on my floor that was quite noticable, and I had just recently vacuumed up and swept and mopped up my floor due to this dust build up. I’m taking them back to Target today. l believe people should be made aware of this issue.Promptly!
