The product, in the report: Bunk bed for children sold by Rooms to Go Kids

We ordered a bunk bed for our kids from Rooms to Go Kids (SKU 3580689P). Upon inspection on July 23rd (delivered July 22nd), the bunk bed had multiple screws laying in their respective holes, unscrewed and not bolted. A glaring choking hazard and safety hazard (these are bunk beds that kids sleep in, unattended). Dowels were missing or half installed. A child could have easily poked a dowel out and swallowed the dowel. The safety bar for the top bunk was lose. Rooms to Go Kids guarantee is delivery professionals will assemble the furniture. We were not left with assembly instructions to rectify the situation, even after I requested these instructions. Rooms To Go Customer Service (multiple agents) have pointed the finger at their 3rd party contractor and have basically told me they don’t have any control over their quality. They did send a technician to correct the issue, and he also confirmed it is a 3rd party for the intial delivery, and there is very little oversight over their installations. A simple [REDACTED] of Rooms to Go Bunk Bed issues led me to multiple complaints across the country with issues similar to mine. These are beds made for children. They should be choking hazard free and assembled properly, with no safety problems. I am glad I caught the issue before my child was harmed, but the quality control should lie with Rooms to Go, not the consumer.
