The product, in the report: Bunk Beds
The consumer says that on Monday afternoon, her son climbed up to his bed. He went to move his blanket from underneath him. When leaning on the side rails, the screws ripped out of it and snapped.
Her son fell from the top bunk. When taking the bunk beds apart she noticed the screw is 5 1/8 of an inch which is not big enough to hold up a guard rail on her child’s bed. her son weighs 68 lbs.
She contacted the retailer on 1-28-13, who said they would make a request for the manufacturer to send replacement parts.
