The product, in the report: Monaco 2-piece Twin-Over-Full Bunk Bed Set, Brown Item #1307414 Model 1307414
The part supporting the slats on my son’s bed broke away from the frame when my wife sat on it causing the mattress to fall through the frame in that place. Upon inspection I found the screws securing the support into the frame were only protruding 1/8” to 3/8” into the frame. The support rail is made up of three pieces per side. Of the three, one had failed and the other was loose. I haven’t checked the other side since it is against the wall. It should be noted that this is a bunk bed and had this happened on the top bunk there could have been some serious injuries.
