The product, in the report: Lang Furniture Madison Bunk Bed Twin over Twin-White MAD-WHG70

About 2 weeks ago the top bed of my 9 year old son’s bunk bed collapsed on the bed below. It turns out the boards holding up the mattress were resting entirely on two very small runners that were held in by long legged staples. They gave all the way out when I was pulling the bedding off of the top after my son got off of the bed because it was slipping. I contacted the company and talked to the general manager. She informed me that I was supposed to contact the retailer that I bought them from. This store has since closed but it was called the Mattress Giant in Little Canada, MN. I am not sure if they are also at fault having sold a bed that’s design may have been modified for quality or safety. I am attaching below that correspondence with the company and the pictures of the bunk bed. They said they were going to send the old owner of the store to fix my bed. That was thirteen days ago and no one has followed up. Wnen I wrote back, today, asking a time frame, I was sent an email of the man who is supposed to be coming to my house to fix it. I know very uncomfortable with anyone associated with this company “fixing” a bed that is supposed to be safe for my son. I feel like they have been uncooperative about the seriousness of this situation. I am a person who feels strongly about letting people have a chance to act with honor when mistakes happen and was really hoping that they would do that. Especially since they are supposedly locally owned. I have a bed I can not use and have to have hauled out of here. Even worse, it could have injured a child. I I should have just contacted you to begin with. Product Or Service: Madison Bunk Bed Twin over Twin-White
