The product, in the report: Charleston Storage Loft Bed with Desk, White
My daughter recieved a “Charleston Storage Loft Bed with Desk, White” from www.walmart.com as a gift for her birthday. The item was delivered directly to my home from the company. When constructing the bed, we noticed several pieces of hardware were defective. However, the bed had enough surplus hardware that we were able to replace the pieces we broke during construction. Apparently all of the hardware included in the bed was defective, because it has continued to degrade over the course of the last 11 months. The cam locks have broken and the bed is rickety and shaky and seems very unsafe. The sides of the bed seem to be pulling apart. I thought perhaps this was an isolated incident but when I went on walmart.com I found several more complaints from consumers regarding the rickety nature of this bed. My daughter is only eighty lbs., so her weight is not overwhelming the bed. This loft bed seems incredibly unsafe and it seems likely that a child could easily be hurt sleeping in it. I am still in possesion of this bed and I can send pictures of the side panels which seem to be coming apart.
