The product, in the report: Ashley B106-56 Twin/Full bunk bed

Product - AshleyB106-56 Twin/Fullbunk bed 1. The panel at the top needs to have opening access so child can enter/come out of the upper bed safely. Since the current design has a straight panel, it poses fall hazard. 2. The ladder steps need to be flat in shape to provide sufficient space for a child to climb.

The product, in the report: Rayville, dark brown full size bunk bed

We had our bunk bed delivered today and set up by the delivery men. Before my children even went to sleep, my daughter climbed up the ladder, flopped over the rails and onto the bed. There was a large cracking sound. The main support bean split in half.

The product, in the report: Top bunk of twin size bunk bed

In 2007 we purchased a bunk bed (B442-59T from Ashley Furniture). Since we have a toddler in the house, we are currently using the bed as two twin beds instead of a bunk bed. Today when my son got in his bed the entire side rail broke off and the mattress collapsed to the floor. If we had been using the bed as a top bunk the way it is designed he would have fallen through the top bunk to the bed below or the floor. He would have been seriously injured or even killed!
