The product, in the report: Premium 16” Feather Balls in white

I received a defective product from Event Décor Direct. They will not refund my money because I purchased the product over 30 days ago. I purchases 7 Premium 16” Feather Balls in white, and 4 Premium 12” Feather Balls in white, on September 7, 2013. I have ordered from this company numerous times with no issues with the products I’ve received. I once purchases a defective centerpiece base light, I called, and it was replaced right away. No questions asked. So I was very disappointed when the sale representative would do nothing to resolve the issue. This is MAJOR. It appears that the feather balls were poorly constructed. I have Black Feather balls that I ordered from Event Décor Direct two years ago, and they are still in very good condition. I rent them all the time. But this balls were put together using some type of chemical that smells like Turpentine. The flames are so over powering, that our eyes actually sting. The feathers are brown and molded. Each on is still wrapped in plastic. Which means they were wrapped while still wet. The sale representative tried to accuse me of storing the feather in a damp area. I even sent her several picture so she could see the problem. So typical to blame the customer. However, I quickly corrected her and let her know that the storage area is dry, and the box is dry. Also, there were no such issues with the smaller feather balls, or one of the larger ball, which was at the bottom of the box. And, the box does not small like chemicals. Only the large feather balls. I only opened one to examine it. Worse mistake ever. The smell was so bad we had to open a window. I understand this company has a 30 day policy for returns. But you shouldn’t send a product out in this condition. We can’t identify the chemical smell. But based on what it did to our eyes, it not safe. I want my money back. And I would love this send this product back, at my expensive, so the CEO of this company can see what I received in the mail, and the poor quality of this product.
