  1. Hurt, no treatment

The product, in the report: Velvet flocked ring stands/holders/displays.

On 1/17/15, ii purchased 2 velvet flocked ring stands from Ross stores. I placed them atop the dresser near my bed. I became progressively ill and weak and suffered headaches and malaise. On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, I felt so weak, I stayed in bed most of the day. That evening as I lay in bed, my husband asked what was wrong. I told him I felt ill. He said, he smelled an odor like fuel/gas. I traced the smell to the ring stands. He confirmed it. The stands were emitting a gas-like odor. I placed them outside of the house in a plastic storage bench On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. I sat them out during the day for approximately 12 hours to see if they would air out. They have not. I pondered what I should do about it so I am making this complaint. The stands are distributed by Darice, Inc., Strongsville, Ohio. The UPC numbers are 8267626896-0. I purchased them for 9.99 each.
