  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 25, 2026, sent to the company Jan 29, 2026, published by CPSC Feb 17, 2026

The product, in the report: Sand Art with frame and LED light around the frame. Purchased from online seller sandarthome.com. Their receipt says “Sand Art 360 Light x 1 Black/Purple/Big” and cost of $119.99. Arrived in a generic box that said “Your Present” and underneath “Sand Art LED Lamp”.

I received a Sand Art decoration/display after Christmas that my husband ordered online from Sand Art Home. The first time I used it the power button would not turn the unit off and I noted the AC adapter to the unit was extremely hot as was the metal tip on the adapter when I unplugged it to just let it run out of charge. I messaged the company who wanted pictures. I plugged it in today and the power button actually pushed itself all the way into the frame of the product. I went to grab my camera and within those seconds there was smoke coming out of the hole where power button was. I called my husband and he said it was on fire in the unit and brought it outside. I was able to get video of the smoke and photos of the power button area. No one was hurt but I feel it could have caused a house fire if I had left it on as a night light because it was within one minute of plugging the unit in that the smoke started to come out of the hole where power button should have been.
