The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made May 25, 2019, sent to the company Jul 11, 2019, published by CPSC Aug 1, 2019

The product, in the report: no product information other than a company identifier ‘st thomas’ on the back of the toilet seat covered space.

the st thomas toilet with the plastic pins and silver caps that cannot be stabilized is faulty and dangerous to the consumer, especially the elderly.

the toilet cover has a silver button that allows the removal of the toilet seat and after removing can easily see that the toilet cannot be stabilized for people to sit or stand from because the toilet seat moves and does not stay stable which isn’t a problem when sitting most times but becomes hazardous when attempting to stand from the seat or when sitting from a standing position. this is apparent when the seat can move many inches in either direction because there is no way to stabilize the seat. ... so this is a fall hazard.

would suggest to include some way to stabilize the non-stabilized but adjustable mechanism that holds the seat in place and cannot be set into any stable position.
