The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: I have owned this product for over 5 years, but when the seat cracked and I ordered the replacement seat, the seam in the front flexed open to catch my skin, then snapped closed as I sat up, tearing a 1 inch slice in a very tender part. It took 10 minutes with ice and pressure to stop the bleeding. All I asked of [REDACTED], the manager at Brondell, was to replace the defective unit, and instead, he called me a liar and and said it couldn’t happen! These people are very nice as long as you are buying, but don’t expect them to stand behind their product 1 day past warranty. And their Warranty obviously does NOT extend to replacement parts.
