The product, in the report: allen + roth Glass top vanity Model # LW103C18B
We had an allen + roth Glass top vanity installed in our guest bathroom for 4 years. During this time we experienced no problem with it until March 22, 2016–when it exploded into a million pieces. The explosion sounded like a bomb going off in our house. It send pieces of glass flying everywhere in the small bathroom space. The model # of the unit is #LW103C18B, and its Lowes’ Item is #0120919. If someone had been in the bathroom when this glass sink exploded, it could well have caused serious injuries.
I called both the allen + roth customer support line and the Lowes’ 800 support line. In speaking to support representatives at both places, I was told there was no warranty covering such a failure and neither operation new of such a failure ever occurring. This is not customer support, this is go away and don’t bother us again support and a total failure to address what is clearly a dangerous product failure.
