The product, in the report: 14” Irruption Blue Glass Vessel Sink 12mm thick. Bathroom sink.

Glass vessel sink exploded while my wife was washing her hands. Glass shards blew all around the bathroom. I found one 1/4 piece embedded in the window from about 3 ft from the sink. Another 1 inch piece blew over the top of her head and landed in the shower stall. She had glasses on so her eyes were saved, but she had glass slivers on her front and arms. It was installed in June as part of a bathroom remodeling. I watched the sink being installed by licensed contracter and it was installed per the instruction that came with the sink. I have contacted Kraus and sent them pictures, they have issued me a claim number and will get back with me they claim. I double checked the lock ring under the sink and it came loose with my bare hand, which is what is required, no more than hand tight.
