The product, in the report: It was a ZAG My Little Pony blue with pony’s on it it was a safety flashlight. About 5” long I guess with 3 discs .
I bought one of these flashlights from a spirits Halloween store in august of 2020 for the upcoming trick or treat season. The night before we were planned to go trick or treating we went for a walk with the dog. My nephew fell asleep when we got back home I noticed that the flashlight had made a burned hole on the seat. I then used it myself and it indeed got to hot for my hands never mind my daughters. His car seat needed replacing as it was a baby shower gift I don’t have the receipt and had to get a much cheaper and very used car seat until I can afford another. I did notify spirit Halloween got no reply I threw the flash light away. I then was reading the recall list provided by [REDACTED] stating this item was recalled. So that’s why I’m filing a claim.
This happened around October 29, 2020.
