The product, in the report: Wurkkos FC11C 18650 flashlight, green, with Nichia 519a LED and built-in USB-c charging.

This was using a Wurkkos FC11C flashlight. It was dropped about 2 feet onto a laminate floor. The flashlight stopped working, the entire light and tube got dangerously hot (enough to burn skin), and it started smelling like burning plastic. When my wife removed the Wurkkos branded 18650 Lithium cell, the positive terminal of the battery cell and the driver pcb had significant scorch marks, and the positive edge battery spring was flattened. This product seems significantly hazardous if a short drop can lead to uncontrolled discharge from an 18650 Lithium battery cell.
