The consumer opened up the battery compartment to check why the light was not coming on. The consumer felt that the battery was extremely hot to the touch even for an adult.
The consumer’s husband ([REDACTED]) checked the continuity across the battery terminal with a meter. It showed that there was a short circuit across the battery terminals.
The consumer has contacted the retailer and is still waiting on a response.
The consumer contacted the manf through e-mail. The consumer received a response stating that the battery was defective and not the product.
