The product, in the report: Monty Chandelier
The consumer heard a loud pop noise and when she walked into her dining room she noticed her dining table had small pieces of glass. The consumer realized that one of the globes in the chandelier, which is above the table, had shattered and it had a hair line fracture.
The consumer indicated that this was the fourth globe that had shattered. The first incident occurred on June 15, 2016, the second incident occurred on August 27, 2016 and the third occurred on October 23, 2016.
The consumer contacted her interior designer and notified them of the incidents.
The consumer also contacted the firm and notified them of the incidents. The firm told her that the wattage of the bulbs could have caused them to break. However, the consumer said the chandelier can accommodate eight 40 watt bulbs and she has eight 25 watt bulbs.
The consumer indicated that she hired an interior designer who purchased the chandelier and it was installed in May 2016. The chandelier was ordered in December 2015.
