  1. No one hurt

Made Sep 28, 2011, sent to the company Oct 6, 2011, published by CPSC Oct 21, 2011

The product, in the report: Inspire Elegance Clear Ceiling Fitting, Chrome finish with clear acrylic droplets. Drop 42cm, diameter 22cm requires 3x 50 watt max GU10 Halogen bulbs (supplied with product) Argos cat. number. 432/5626

Bought a ceiling light fitting approx a year ago which was fitted in our hall, bulbs were supplied with the product. Recently 2 out of the 3 bulbs had blown. When replacing the bulbs it was discovereved that the ceiling was cracking around the base of the fitting, when removed it was that all the terminal blocks and cables had melted, and the plaster has all cracked and is now falling down. So there is obviously a problem due to over heating etc.
