The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

No one hurt Made Oct 28, 2014, sent to the company Nov 5, 2014, published by CPSC Nov 24, 2014
The product, in the report: 5 light Chandelier in Umber Sunset Finish with Rustic Scavo Glass Vendor: 11370 Date: May 2007 Model# DTN8115-2 SKU# 841-675 UPC# 6940500304281 UL: E199318-JS UL ISSUE: A-232,106
Connection hardware on an install chandelier had failed and I noted the chandelier hanging from a wire with the heavy base and 5 large glass globes ready to crash to the table and on top of people. the cast metal connectors which attached the chandelier base to the ceiling down rod had failed and disintegrated. There are two of these cast metal connectors (one to mount the chandelier base and globes upright and one to mount the chandelier base and globes downward). Both of the these cast metal connectors were disintegrating and flaked and split into pieces when touched. If both of my connectors were defective, then there are likely other consumers with the same problem that might not know about it and their chandelier will fall once the cast metal connectors disintegrate and the wire connection now holding up the chandelier breaks lose.
The chandelier was purchased from the home depot in 2008 and I believe it was sold exclusively through the home depot. I believe the brand the product is marketed under is “Commercial Electric”. The identifying numbers on the product are as follows:

The product, in the report: 2-Light Shoplight sold by Home Depot and made by Commercial Electric from China costs about $12.96
I bought six fluorescent shop lights from Home Depot for my greenhouse. When I turned two of the six lights on, they started a flame near the ballast and melt the plastic ballast. I took them back to home depot. They were very inexpensive, about $12.96 from China. They were made by Commercial Electric. 201 462 2-Light Shoplight. I have pictures of the box.
