The product, in the report: Sea Gull 31382-965 Parkview 15 Light 43 inch Antique Brushed Nickel Chandelier Ceiling Light in Satin Etched Glass
I bought this fixture in 2010. Within the first year of use, the screw collar snapped off of the mounting bracket and the chandelier was hanging from the ground wire while the chain had dropped to the center of the light. I happened to notice this and called immediately (July 18, 2011), sent a picture of the broken screw collar and was sent a replacement screw collar which was replaced and rehung.
Then on June 18, 2017 at 4am we heard a crash and the entire light fixture was crashed on the floor!!! The screw collar had snapped off for the second time and this time the ground wire was not able to hold the light. It is very obvious that the parts were not engineered correctly to support the weight of this chandelier.
