The product, in the report: 15V68 Possini Euro Cybele 28 1/2”W Glass Spheres Chrome Pendant
This product is a pendant light fixture with several large glass bulbs that was installed above a glass dining table. I want to report that after turning the light on for several minuter one of the glass bulbs fell off and bounced off of the glass table, ten minutes later another glass bulb fell from the fixture and shattered on the glass table. I want to report this as a safety hazard because fortunately this all happened after we had dinner and was not sitting at the table at the time. This was not an install issue, the fixture comes with 40 watt light bulbs and become intensely hot within a minute of turning on so I suspect that the glass and metal base becomes so hot that it expands and therefore the light bulb becomes loose falls off the fixture. I have reported this to the seller (Lampsplus.com) and intend to return the item because it is hazardous and can cause serious injury.
