The product, in the report: Hunter Fan Anslee Collection, Models 59265, 59266, 59267 5 blade ceiling fan with light kit
Purchased and installed 3 Hunter Dougjlas Anslee ceiling fans with lights (model 59265,66,67) in December of 2016. The light globe from one unit (occasional use of fan, installed in upstairs family room) fell and broke about 18 months ago. The globe on the 2nd unit (installed bottom floor, kitchen dining) fell yesterday. This fan was only used a few times although the light associated with it was used often. We have tile floors and both impacts caused glass shards to land everywhere. We have had numerous ceiling fans over the years and have never had the globes ball. We have replaced all of the fans, including the one that had not fallen yet.

The product, in the report: Hunter Holden 44in. Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light Kit (Bronze)
I was trying to change out for a new light bulb on our Hunters Ceiling Fan’s lighting fixture. As I carefully placed my hand on the glass bowl (lens) covering the light bulbs (barely touched) it just all the sudden broke into pieces. The product was bought at a home depot store and was installed by a licensed contractor a little over 2 years ago. We barely use the fan but however did use its’ lighting feature. Both the fan and light was in OFF position when the glass bowl just broke by itself and shattered all over the floor. Luckily, no one was injured (Thank God!). I was in complete shock when it happened and when I finally recollect myself, I had to literally check for my face, arms, body... because I was so sure the angel of death was near. After this incident, my wife was determined to have a contractor coming out to remove all of our ceiling fans (She was scared to death because our two babies often play in the area right underneath that ceiling fan). We were truly blessed because the kids were in the kitchen while this happening. Maybe it was a defected product?? Or maybe We were just having bad luck (superstitiously speaking).

The product, in the report: Casablanca ceiling fan with Intellitouch controls
[REDACTED] LED [REDACTED] base bulb exploded.
I purchased several [REDACTED] base [REDACTED] LED 60w replacement 7w LED light bulbs in late March of 2016. I installed these bulbs in the light kit of a 15 year old Casablanca ceiling fan with Intellitouch controls. That control system uses a wall mounted controller to operate all the functions of the fan and the lights. For the lights that includes on and off and dimming through 6 levels of brightness.
A few days ago while all four lights in the light kit were on (all four contain LED bulbs) one of those bulbs exploded showering glass and tiny pieces of the base containing the electronics all over the area under the fan. All the pieces were tiny pieces and we swept them up and discarded them in our trash.
I have attempted to contact [REDACTED]Technical Support but have been unable to make contract. Their office is either closed or the wait time is interminable.
The packaging for the bulbs in question listed the following numbers:
[REDACTED] Model: [REDACTED]
The package indicates that this product was assembled in one or more of the following countries: China, Mexico
The package clearly shows an icon to claim that the bulb is Dimmable. Under Warnings and Cautions the following statement regarding dimmability appears: “Suitable for use with dimmers. Visit www. [REDACTED] to find up-to-date dimmer and lighting control compatibility information. That website lists a number of dimmers by manufacturer or brand name, but does not mention Casablanca Fans. Unfortunately as a consumer I have no way of knowing what dimmer or dimming technique Casablanca has installed in their fans.

The product, in the report: Hunter ceiling fan
While replacing a burned-out light bulb, I discovered that the all three of the light sockets on the ceiling fan in my den/home office had cracked. The socket material had dried out and cracked in several places, and had begun to crumble. The ceiling fan was purchased in May 2010, and I have never used light bulbs above the recommended 60 Watt limit. The fan, which is Hunter Fan’s model number 28667, uses the small base light bulbs, which I believe are referred to as “B10” bulbs or “candelabra-base” bulbs. Over the course of the two and a half years that the fan has been in use, I have had to replace quite a few bulbs. In removing the old bulbs, I would say that almost half of the bulbs have broken (the glass portion has separated from the metal base). I had attributed this to poor quality of the bulbs, and their small diameter at the base of the bulb. Now I suspect that the metal part of the sockets may have become warped or were not correctly formed. For whatever reason, many of the bulbs have broken off in the socket. I have noticed small bits of material falling from the light sockets to my desk below the fan when removing the bulbs. Not until yesterday did I realize that some of the material was actually part of the light socket itself, not just pieces of the burned-out light bulbs.
