The product, in the report: Cree pressure mounted retro fit canister led light
I have Cree Lighting products in my home. These are retro-fit recessed lights with pressure mounts. They have been in use for 5-6 years and I have had at least 2 failures where the plastic screw assembly section breaks apart from the light housing. These plastic screw assemblies also hold the metal washer and metal pressure mount fingers. When the screw assembly failed this last time the metal washer and pressure finger which are very small and choking / injury hazard fell onto the floor below. My dogs went over to investigate and one started to chew the washer. Had it been a child and the longer sharp finger it could have been much worse.
