The product, in the report: Cordelia [REDACTED] light. Uses two T-8 bulbs.
I was using a Cordelia [REDACTED] light as a light source for starting my vegetable seeds as I have done for several years. I found the fixture was smoking and became overheated. The light caused the room to have smoke and a noxious smell. It caused the small plastic table top greenhouse I built to melt in one section. We have an unoccupied walk out basement apartment that I use for my hobbies. I am glad that this occurred during the daytime hours when I found it. It could have caused a serious fire if I was not home. Thank God for a sensitive smoke detector 15 feet away.
