The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: White shower light trim

Last night, 6/9/19 around 8:30 pm we heard a minor crashing noise coming from our bedroom area. When we went into the master bathroom, we noticed the trim around the light above the shower had fallen to the tile and broken into little shards. We then proceeded to clean up the shards and wondered why that would happen. I googled it this morning for a replacement and saw that it had been recalled in 2012. We bought our house new in 2006, and never had a problem until last night.
