Purchased Cinoton Dawn to Dusk Outdoor Wall Sconce Model #: STR-WL-0001 from Amazon on November 19, 2022. Installed by Electrician/Handyman. Light worked fine for 18 months. Started making a constant buzzing noise. After a few days started heating up and had an acrid electrical smell. Removed sconce from wall and “dawn to dusk” panel switch was arched/burned/scarred. The unit is supposedly covered by a 3 yr manufacturer’s warranty. Tried contacting manufacturer via 2 different posted email addresses and by phone without success. Reported top Amazon customer service as an unsafe product and no support from manufacturer despite warranty and website post stating 24/7 support. This product may cause a fire. I cannot find either ETL or UL certification anywhere.
